Can anyone help me with my conx problem?

I have a Toshiba laptop and can't keep an eq connection. After logging in the lag bar immediately goes red and I discon to server select screen.

There are a few weird points though. This laptop is the gateway for my home LAN. I can run EQ through the other PC without a problem, using exactly the same (dial-up) connection.

If I log in using the laptop I can manage to stay connected if I constantly reload the UI. Everytime the UI reloads the lag bar is full green, but goes red straight away. This doesn't help of course, but it's weird. I'm using the default UI.

Sony doesn't support laptops, so I've come here for help. Hopefully someone can!

Have you tried copying the config files from one of the PCs to the laptop? Just wondering if it might be a setup issue on the laptop, and switching to a known-working config might help... -------------------------
