Imp Ambush question: crit rate?
Reply With Quote   #1

Hi!

I was just wondering if you guys knew if the crit bonus from imp ambush simply stacked with your current crit rate, or if it was relative to it.

i.e.: if you got rank 3 imp ambush, is your new crit rate: (old crit rate) + 40%?
or is it: (old crit rate) + 40%* (old crit rate)?

if you guys don't know, how does it *seem* to effect it at least?
I just want to know how often I could expect to crit using ambush on someone of the *same level*

Respectfully,
TheClaps

It is 40% + your current all attacks crit rate. Mine is currently like 14.95%, so I have 54.95% chance to crit my ambush.

So when you're fighting mobs of the same level, do you actually end up crittin on your ambush over half the time?

I'm just wondering if the numbers play out right :D

thanks!

Yes, with Improved Ambush 3 critical Ambushes were the norm. Kinda nice. => Only time it kinda sucks is on those 3-mob pulls...when you're accustomed to opening the first hit with that big crit, going through two more fights immediately without it really feels different.
