Well I nursed a team of subpar cripples back up the ladder, despite a couple very tight (1-2 pt) losses and a tie, so I thought I had a chance to rally in playoffs. Oh well.

Next time we ought to use more standard rules for FF. I think there's a real problem with the scoring, and a 4 team playoff leaves the majority of teams out in the cold.

Agreed, next year using the normal rules would be excellent. I lost a few games this season I wouldn't have lost under the traditional rules.

And definitely gotta go with 8 team playoffs. I didnt even realize it was only 4 teams until this week .

Oh well, at least I'm the number 2 seat going into the playoffs in the league we have at the Vanguard forums :P

Yeah, I got dinged a couple times and lost some squeakers. Oh well, I won the league in the office (came down to me having Green and Bennet last night).

Yeah Dogpound got 5th place, so missed cut by a rusty razor thin margin.

Could have got in if you scored more points but you got in on the lesser playoffs where you fight for like 5-8th(?) place.

20 person league has such a talent dilution that you have fate costing you more than skill in picking, but like I said oh well.

Still, there are 17 weeks in regular season which would have allowed two 8 team playoffs. I'm not sure why you chose 4 teams and making us end on the 16th week.

4 teams is the default I believe. Maybe he just didn't think to change it. Geez, isn't is possible to say "thanks for all the fun, everyone, I can't wait until next year!"
