It depends on where you are fighting, If you are fighting someplace that is highly resistant to cold (Plane of Water for example,) Primary Ifir otherwise use DoD Primary. If you dont know what mobs are resistant to cold I Suggest putting a Cold DD proc on one of you weapons (Note the new don proc's are negative 150 resist check.) I do this with poison to test resistance to the element on my dagger.

Nothing to add to the choice, but the DoN procs are -200 to the resist.

I mainhand DoD and find that I get atleast 1 of the cold damage very frequently, and all 3 in many of the places where I xp (Plane of Fire, Upstairs RSS, DoN)

I say hands down DoD.
