Yeah, I tend to agree with you. If we had violent public executions, it would be a better deterent. Screw cruel & unusual punishment, stuff like this makes me ill.
It is only unusual because we don't do it enough. And if the horses are fast and strong it won't be cruel...actually quite quick. Well the dieing part maybe not so quick but the dismemberment will happen right quick.
my daughters went to a home daycare in the same neighborhood that this happened in. my wife and the babysitter were talking about the case one day because the area was absolutely covered with all the people doing the search for the girl. turns out tanya, the woman watching the kids, went to school with the accused. she says to my wife, "oh he didn't do it, i know him, i just saw him at the store the other day...he's a good guy." now...im thinking,"k, this guy is a convicted rapist, was at the girls house, and now she's missing, and tanya would prolly let the guy in if he happened to knock on her door."
we are no longer using this lady for our daycare needs. we sent them back to a kindercare, as of yesterday, that is right down the street. its SOOO worth the 300/wk to know that they are right there under better supervision.
How about the guy here in GA who took the little girl and buried her ALIVE after he had his way with her....now Him...I think we could think of some very interesting stuff to do to him

yeah, Velevt, I thought about him too. Native Americans mastered the way to flay someone alive over the period of several days. I like that one for him.

Reason I posted the news is that the victim is related to a friend of mine, and I was SO angry when I heard the news that I couldn't do much more than say "I hope that justice is served" before ending the conversation.
