I'm currently level 65.

Can't seem to locate any information on wether there is a required level in order to be able to increase poison making skill to 300? Can I do this at 65 or must i reach level 70?

I'm at 250 i think, and I have my GMAS.

You can increase to 300 at level 65.
I am level 65 with 300 skill.

pretty sure there are people out there these days that are below 65 and have 300 skill.

The old formula for Tradeskills used to be max skill = (level x 5) + 5. Don't think thats still in effect, however, I do think you need to be above level 50 to raise skill above 250?

Anyways, if the old math holds true, then (65 x5) + 5 woudl mean you could technically get skill up to 330 if that were possible...

But I honestly seem to think they completely did away with req levels for Tradeskills... I seem recall some Guildies alts being like 200+ in Tradeskills on their low-level (< 20) alts.

thanks for the info, im now working my way towards 300.

"real" tradeskills (Smithing, Tailoring, Baking, etc) have -never- had a level cap restriction.

Poison Making has recently become a "real" tradeskill. There is no longer a level cap restriction once you hit 20 and can train it.
