BIOS question
Reply With Quote   #1

Is there some way to get at a mobo's BIOS after the computer is booted (even read-only would work). I've got an old dell that has a bunch of errors on boot-up, and I can't seem to find the right combination of keys to get into the BIOS. I'm going to wipe it and do a reinstall, but I'm going to put in a new HD (LOL still haven't done it from that last post I made), and want to know if the mobo will accept an uber-HD or not.

Thanks

CPU-Z shows some basic BIOS info. PC Wizard has a lot more info, and can do BIOS dumps. BIOS Agent is an updated version of one I've used before. Should tell you pretty much everything you need to know about it...
