This is currently outside my apt.

The end of the road was blocked off with 2 of those orange and white stands, although the one in front of the hole was moved slightly aside already by a driver of a smaller vehicle. Luckily this driver left the scene immediately, so I could take my pics in peace. Not to claim the status of a "real professional" in any one endeavor has been a small price to pay for the many benefits and pleasures of trespassing. ~Leo Lionni

"That's a keeper"

No such luck, we had to throw the mailtruck back. We've had some other catches, though.

Did you at least sift through other people's junk mail while the mailman was gone?

Very awesome. I'd love to see the cement harden around one tire though, sorta like a permanent statue.

For a while I thought we might have permanent statuary in the middle of the street. When a tow-truck dug the mail truck out, the two of them shoved the traffic-blocking-stand-thing as deep into the wet concrete as they could. (Philly hires some smarties, apparently.) The amazing winds knocked it out not much later, though.

I had my fingers crossed for the tire, though. Would have loved to see whatever process would be used to get it out afterwards.
