I've searched the knowledge base for this issue but havent turned anything up maybe someone can point me into the right direction.

I want to install an extension, so i go to tools > extensions. But the window never comes up. If i try and go to the extension website and install, it'll download the extension but when it trys to bring up that window nothing happens.

I've tried reinstalling and that doesnt help, unless theres some settings that dont get uninstalled normaly that could be causing the issue.

Any ideas?

if everything else failed, you should remove your prefs directory in

Code:

C:\Documents and Settings\&lt;login name>\Application Data\Mozilla

Be warned that it will remove really all your prefs, including bookmarks. You might want to save the file

C:\Documents and Settings\&lt;login name>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\&lt;random string>\bookmarks.html

elswhere before deleting the whole folder

restart firefox, it should be clean as new
