Been a long time. I quit playing WoW a long time ago. I only played it for a couple of weeks. It was kinda fun, but it ran its course. Anyway, I've been thinking about a return to DAOC, but I'd only consider coming back on a Classic server since it doesn't have TOA crap (I HATE TOA) . I really didn't mind the buffbots too much since I could afford to get have one before (though I did feel dirty with one and am glad they found a way to eliminate them), but TOA just killed the game for me.
For those of you who don't know (or remember me), I played a ful CS Inf on Igraine--Aurra/Taichi: 50cs, 50th. My favorite times in DAOC were when I was doing the stealth war thing, and when I was hunting people in DF. I also loved camping the MGs and jumping solo people trying to run through.
My questions are these:
...remember Classic Server perspective please...
How do the assassins compare now?
Have there been any significant changes to any of them since TOA came out?
How are things in the stealth game with no buffbots?
What are things like for assassins on the classic servers?
Did server clustering work well?
Any other comments you want to make regarding the classic servers or assassin issues on those severs are very appreciated.
