Having not been able to play vanguard yet, i was wondering if like EQ you could only have so many spells mem'd, or if its like WoW and you can add more slots for the spells and not have to sit and mem them.
Yeah, you can have up to three rows of hotkeys per "side" which just means left-ish or right-ish side of the screen, with the default UI.
Further, you can bind those hotkeys to be 1 through =, alt 1 through =, ctrl 1 through =, or whatever else you'd care to use.
It takes some fiddling, but you can make it pretty efficient with respect to cutting down on mouse use (which is always a goal of mine).
The biggest non-intuitive hurdle is that the UI is modified through the settings menu, in layout mode, not just by interacting with the UI directly as you play.
