Think about the episode where they kept saying s***, and replace it with n*****. Evidently it is based of the fact that NY (from what I heard) tried to ban the word, and not solely about Michael Richards which is what I thought it was about.
the only way I could see south park banned from tv permanently was if they did an episode that consisted solely of "N***** N***** N***** N***** C*** N***** F***** N***** C****"
I remember hearing about the law that was passed. The law is "unbiding" which means that it has no legal power, its more of a "It sure would be nice if people do this" rule than "You will go to pound you in the ass prison" law. Its still rediculous though. This whole thing about "The N-word" is just like Harry Potter and Voldermort/He-who-shall-not-be-named. The more you fear and over react to a word the more power you give it. Parker and Stone once again prove that they are masters at satiring society.
I'm sorry, help me understand...any time they would have used the word sh** they instead used the word nig*** (and they didn't bleep it obviously)? Like all the characters, or just the four of them, or just Cartman? I need to find a copy of this.

Although I don't really spoil much (basic plot line description), I'll put it up:
SPOILER:
The side-plot to the main N-word plot (where Randy Marsh is the protagonist/antagonist) revolves around Cartman laughing at and harassing a school motivator (who happens to be a little person). There is a "Cripple Fight"-esque scene as well.
Stone/Parker are satirizing both the Midget and N-word in one episode. I wasn't laughing that hard, but they usually have their shocker episode be the premiere of a season of late. I'm just happy the season started up again!
You can see where it went from there, it happened to be a live broadcast of wheel of fortune, and the answer was NAGGERS.
Cramer and a bunch of other random people who've gotten attacked for using the word N***** in public got involved and got congress to ban the slur "N***** Guy."
Also, Stan's dad has to apologize to Jesse Jackson by kissing his ass.
That wheel of fortune bit made me laugh harder than most previous southparks, though. that was good.
