How's EQ2 doing these days?
Reply With Quote   #1

How's the game? I hear it's more soloable now. How MUCH more soloable? Any sense in playing casually?

Last I played was maybe a year or 2 ago, had a level 21 rat swashbuckler. Logged in on one of those "Come back free" weekends and noticed they were giving 2 or 3x xp as well. Killed 3 things my level, each of which almost killed me, very close fights and the xp I got barely moved the bar.

Was my experience representative of the state of the game today? Can scouts solo?

Thanks!

Since i played in the beginning and then canceled, i couldnt use my old char with all the changes.

So i made a new Fury, and leveled her up to 30 now, mostly solo with double XP and mobs below my level mostly. It is very soloable because of the many quests you could do. But you could also get groups

EQ2 is a very casual game i think.

How long did it take you to solo from 1-30? How often do you play and how long are your sessions on average?

Thanks for the info!

I Have 4 days played for 30 Fury and 27 Provisioner.

i went back to eq2 about a month ago. Its better now, more stuff to do. Only problem i have with it is you level way too fast now. Other than that i like it. I have a rat brigand i can solo fine. grouping is a lot better though. ya know...its a MMO..
