That thing isn't anywhere near the uncanny valley--unless you're a cow, I suppose.
I wasn't aware that the uncanny valley only applied to humanoid nonlife entities. The thing is still too life-like for a robot, thus why people are creeped the hell out by it.

Well, it depends on how you define it, I suppose. I've usually heard it used more specifically with "the closer it is to human, the freakier it is"--but if you made it broader, it could be "the closer it is to biological, the freakier it is."
