The white dog is named Kobe. I became a volunteer for a husky rescue group and I'm fostering him now until he gets adopted. But I wanted to share this because it's pretty funny.
Has he blown coat yet? He came here blowing coat. He was a furry bomb!
I see why the rescue was so eager to have me foster him
It's going to be a fun two weeks with two dogs that blow coat. Neither dog is allowed in the house until I comb them with a furminator, which I do every day before I leave for work and when I get home. There's still, of course, a TON of hair in the house, but I vacum pretty often during this time too.
My backyard looks like it's snowing fur. Huge furballs floating everywhere... :D
I'll be happy when they are both done blowing coat and I can just do it weekly or twice a month.
Neat trivia:
Cool eyes, eh?
I adore this dog. It's going to be hard to let him go.
This is seriously one of the best dog pics I've seen in a while.
Jhani described it perfectly.
I think I'll have to send it to my gf at work tomorrow - willing to bet it gets her smiling
I couldn't do rescue stuff; it would be too hard for me to let them go, and I'd end up with a house full of dogs
I did it on whim, but I'm having a hard time already with the thought of letting him go. I'm going to let Ollie decide whether he should stay or not. probably take a few weeks for them to work everything out and I'll decide what I want to do then.
But he is seriously a wonderful dog. Very gentle and loving. Ollie resembles a tornado, where he's a very gentle wind. That's the best way to describe the two. Properly exercised he will be a wonderful dog in any house. He sleeps on top of my feet in bed, a nice foot warmer :D
Thanks for compliments on the picture. It was hard to capture it. Most ended up blurry, or not as interesting, but I think I got this one well.

Heh, after a couple of years you wake up and realize, ok, eight dogs is too many. Time to find real homes for these guys... After that the ones who stick around long term are the ones with medical or behavioral issues that make them hard to place.
Great pictures! I would have the hardest time letting them go too, and I as well would have a house full of dogs lol. I have two beautiful Black Labradors now and I love them to death.
Oh and they are starting to shed thier winter coat and my back yard has so much hair blowing around LOL.
We need a Safehouse battle, my dogs vs the puny labs. Go ahead, all of you at teh same time against my two. Fools, the lot of you!
my 2 will pwn' yours!
68 and 90 pounds of pure lean, mean fighin' machines! They can hit walls at full speed and feel no pain! Athena can jump over 4 feet, she's very agile.
I have to get the attachment for my camera on my phone to upload some rottie pics.
Very cute picture btw, they look very happy playing! I'd have a hard time letting Kobe go, he looks beautiful.

Hey, rotties are cheating!! Everyone knows they are all monsters waiting to rip faces off!! :( :(
(ducks)
Doesn't matter if your dogs are stronger though, Sibs are the ultimate endurance dogs, and faster than labs and rotts. :D So they will just run them ragged then it'll be easy picking :D
