CD/DVD Printer Recommendations

I've been thinking about getting a printer that prints directly on discs, but the search is proving more prickly than anticipated. Does anyone have any suggestions? Best quality for a relatively low price would, of course, be helpful.

I have a HP Photosmart D5160, and I use it to print CDs all the time. It's relatively cheap, but the ink isn't. $75 for the printer, $50 for ink. I get probly 200 pages or so before needing ink. I did 70 DVDs with a solid blue background before needing to refill ink.

Lightscribe is hokey. Not gonna buy special discs to etch in a gray scale picture, thanks but no. I've heard good things about the Epson CD printers. Altho I've never used them. Personally I print on labels and apply them, looks great and no special printer needed.

I currently have one of the earlier Epson Photo / CD printers (model R2000?), and it does a good job printing on printable CD/DVD. I also use it to print my DVD clamshell covers (I've been copying my VHS to DVD)

I've got a Lightscribe drive on another computer, and while I like it OK, it just doesn't look very professional. Plus, taking over half an hour to label each disc became tiresome.

I use an Epson Stylus Photo R220 at work, and while it prints well, it gives me some trouble. Also, I'm not generally an Epson fan.

I'm looking at picking up an HP Photosmart C5280 after I get off work tonight. The price is good ($120) and the ink seems inexpensive ($30 for a pack of both color and black cartridges).
