but now it is happening outside of eq2. what the hell is going on? there are no devices between my keyboard and the receiver introducing interference. it sits aboutj 1' away.
Your 'J' is sticking. Tap on the J a few times to see if it feels different; it could either be physical (something like a crumb/small object under the keys is pushing against the area designated for the J) or you could have moisture between the layers that is tricking the keyboard into thinking you're pressing the key.
it's not just J. it happens with pretty much all the keys on my keyboard. i also clean my keyboard reguarly. the last time was a couple weeks ago (in response to the keys sticking).
Better yet, have you tried prying off the J key, inspecting what's underneath, then putting it back on? Generally speaking the letters pop off quite easily.
there isn't anything there. i cleaned it again this weekend, and haven't had any problems yet with the limited amount of time i used it. so hopefully it was just getting stuck somewhat (even though it felt normal and whatnot when i pushed it).
