Is there anyway to have google calendar send an sms reminder without a time delay setting.

I tried setting a global reminder for 1 day before, but if I set up an apointment for the same day it wont send.

I just want to add an event and have it sent to the phone.

#1 what if you set up a one minute reminder.. or do you need more notification.
