Looks like halfling and gnome tanks are also nerfed, since their knockdown was apparently better than larger creatures.

I think the nerf to the little people is offset by the advantage you get from improved knockdown. My gnome barbie couldn't knockdown giants because they were more than 1 size class bigger than him. If I read this correctly, improved knockdown will make him into an effective medium creature, who can knockdown large creatures.
It's been quite some time since I played so I could be wrong though. Llabaktharr Gigglegiggler
51 Lawncare Facilitator and gnomosexualizer of da ladies (retired)
And introducing: Heremon, Level 39 Firbolg Bard of Percival, Legendary Grandmaster Smith
Sanditari Gigglegiggler, 37 'keen 'chanter
100% socializer 53% explorer 33% achiever 13% killer and 100% lover.
What was happening was the size bonus to Knockdown was added in reverse, i.e. Gnomes got +4 against Medium sized creatures instead of -4, and Humans got -4 against Gnomes instead of +4, etc... Before IKD did nothing, now it treats your KD like you're one size larger than you actually are. NeverWinter Nights, single player:
