I bought & installed the game & exp pack today, after I'd installed and tried out my new joystick in bf1942. but for some reason, after clicking on the menu and getting that mouse pointer bug, I all of a sudden can't open up bf1942.

if I do it from the exe, it just gives a "program not responding" thing. if I try it from the cd menu, the menu is all screwed up -it says "button_name_play", instead of just "play."

as the only thing I did in between testing my joystick out in bf1942 the first and second time was installing and trying to run nwn and getting that bug, could that have somehow screwed up bf1942? not really sure how, but I can't really think of anything else. anybody else had these problems?
