Someone i San Gabrial CA won, and someone else won also so it was split.

Nupe, me and my coworkers had 80 tickets though. We literally only got 2 mega numbers and just won 4 bucks because of that =/

I'm torn by the lottery. I know the odds, I know I'm never going to win. A know it's a tax on the math incompetent, and yet I buy two Power Ball tickets every week. One on Wednesday, and one on Saturday.

I guess I do it so I can sit at my desk and dream about what I would do if I won. Which has become drastically boring in the past few years, pay off my house, buy mutual funds, and give a **** load away to the needy.

Yep, I know. That is why I only purchase a ticket when it is >150mil myself and even then it is limited to 2 tickets. I figure 0.00000000000000000001% chance on $2 per 6 months is worth the little entertainment I get out of it.

A lot of us here used to camp super rare spawns in EQ too, don't feel too bad. Sure, the chances of those is so much better.. but then again people do get struck by lightning too. :p

There's entertainment value just in wondering what you would do, and even better, how you'd quit your job in a blaze of glory.

Around my office, we have a pool any time Powerball gets over $100 MM. I particpate for that enjoyment factor. We have several folks who participate just in the extremely unlikely chance that the pool wins, they don't want to be "last man standing."

Out of 5 lines played, I got 1 number total, and it wasn't even a Mega$$ number. :(

When Nymm and I are talking about all the stuff we want to do around the house he always says "better win the lottery" then we don't even play the big lottery hehe we just buy the scratchers at Vons on our way out the door
