I am all for lowering the human population, and by a considerable number! But that will not happen with out the help of a major disaster, no tv show can help that either :p
No, it could be done relatively easy with poison in the tap water/food/vaccines, genetically engineered disease mosquitoes, absurd wars, huge bombs. i'm surely missing a few.
oh unless that stuff counts as a major disaster. doesn't necessitate "natural" disasters though i guess.
