This series is seriously living up to the hype for me, even though Showtime has been cramming previews down our throats for 6 months. Really enjoying this show. The assassin is the ****!

Rly??

I was so damn sick of the commercials and how much they tried to jam it in our minds that I figured it would suck. I'll have to check it out now.

Yea, the show is great so far. The assassin is probably my favorite so far for just being awesome, though the son in robes is a great character as well. The whole episode with Cem is what sealed it for me.

Also, yay for Machiavelli being in this latest episode.

I liked The Tudors a lot and I was unsure about this one as a followup, but I'm really enjoying it too. I can't get enough of Cesare and the assassin.

In some warped way the assassin has a lot to do with my enjoyment of the show. I hope we learn more about him. There's a hint of backstory here that just feels so delicious.

She who does not enjoy mixed metaphors does not enjoy kissing, the smell of flowers, the feeling of rain -- or any of the million conflicting phenomena of which life is composed.

Watched the last episode last night. Loved this series and hope it comes back... though from what I understand of Alexander's history there's only another season worth of content to go. Flipping through my old world history book, Cezanne had dealings with DaVinci too. wonder if that will come in next year.

Definitely worth the on-demand watch if you like loosely-based-on-history-period-pieces. Lots of roguish action, occasional boobies, 15th century politics and Catholicism, innovative French warfare strats, a trophy room of corpses, and the freaking plague to boot.
