This is the prize from a rather easy LoN scenario that can be beaten with a free starter deck.

Are there any tips for beating this? I only have the priest and archaeologist starter decks available.

Edit: The two starting decks I have seem to suck, and I'm not interested enough to sort through all 900 cards I somehow acquired to put a deck together.

I finally beat it using the advice in the linked thread. I used the archaeologist starter deck. Put out one creature at a time so her creatures will beat it up instead of you, go for quest completion. Restart if you don't have a few abilities in your starting hand.

Is this LoN card relevant to rogues? Does it stack with Bite of the Shissar poisons or is it better? I have heard conflicting opinions on this.

It is Bite of the Shissar. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=8511 (level appropriate for the rogue)
But it is summoned 3 at a time and of course it's free. Soooo it's good. When ROF came out, I still had over 100 in my inventory of the lvl 95 poisons, but when I got to 100, I am now summoning the new lvl 100 poisons, so tossing the old ones. Get it if you can. It's well worth it.
