I played DAoC and it was a fine game, but I am quite done with it. Also, I've no desire to acquire someone elses characters and reputation in any game and consider trading characters/accounts in any online game to be extremely detrimental to gaming society as a whole.

I hope no one else takes you up on your offer, but I suspect there are enough folks out there who can be tempted to do so. Which is a shame, really.

Just do what I do, and camp outside a beta testers house with a telephoto lense and a mind control laser. It's just like playing it yourself.

1. i got my account from my friend who works for blizzard - just not ethical to $#$# over a friend for money. a grand is a bit under a week's pay for me.

Game isn't public, you don't get to play with friends. Game is in beta so a lot of stuff is broken or just plain sucks. And your characters could be wiped at any time and WILL be wiped when the game is released and I assume you WILL have to buy the game at release too. Plus, the game seems to have some stuff that might very well suck. I'm still not sure I'll even pay to play after beta.

$1000 is so overpriced. I probably wouldn't sell my account, but anybody who pays $1000 is insane.
