Backstab Modifiers

Hi,

If you have capped your BS at 225 do the backstab modifiers make a difference .....

mods will raise your backstab dmg cap.

From what I've read in the many threads where this has been asked...

There is a hard skill cap at 255. If your skill is at 255, a modifier won't have any net effect, as 255 is the hard cap. If you have 225 skill (like backstab), the modifier can raise it up toward/to the 255 skill cap.

Somewhere between 13% and 14% is where 225 would hit the skill cap. So if you have your skill capped and a 14% backstab mod item, switching to a 20% mod item would do nothing. 225 + 14% = 256.5, which translates to the 255 cap. 225 + 20% = 270, which translates to the 255 cap. Both would give you the result of having 255 backstab. -------------------------

the hard cap with all skills is 252. the backstab mod cap is 12%. mods dont stack of course.
