Reading through various posts here on raising defensive skill, and tired of trying to find a group as a duo, can anyone please suggest some places where we might duo and get some experience and/or drops?
We are both barbarians, and not exactly twinked.... still need to get ragebringer, and my rogue has only 877 AC *gasp* (which i hope is because of my low def skill - 186).
I'd say Seb, with that low AC the planes would probably own you and your shaman, maybe not.
Seb is a good place, decent exp, loot to boot too. Bugz probably the best place for you two, just be heavy on the root with your shaman, they like to run alot Marauder Grima

Velks would probably be good. Seb would probably be a suicide mission with all the runners, casters, adds, etc. Once one of your chars reach 60 it will be a lot easier to pull seb with fewer adds.

Umbral Plains zone-in. Should be able to single pull into the large zone-in area. The mobs drops heaps of sellables so you could make a heap of cash vendoring the stuff.
Or alternatively if UP is a bit tough the Maidens Eye zone-in near DSP/AR. Deceiver Lochlaner Lanerloch

Many thanks for all the suggestions folks, I look forward to trying a lot of these places out. I think for now, I remain slightly nervous about the two of us in Seb, but our guild has semi-regular outings to seb anyway, so we get enuf of that place as it is.

As for Umbral Plains, yes, that place can be very rewarding indeed. I won the Bracer of Fortitude there with a group of 6 recently... nice item.
