I was wondering if it would make a big difference if I played either one of these races on new server? Are there any items that either one can't wear that make a big difference later on (like treeweave, that 13/26 weapon that is midget only)? I was planning on evil (bertoxx for gnome, innoruuk for DE and yes I know sooo many people are going evil, oh well) so does either one have better faction? i guess it dont matter since I will need to spend all my time in the evil places, so does a bertoxx gnome have good faction in neriak, grobb and oggock? final question, do the stats make a big difference? they both have super low str, but I'll deal with it
If it's a toss up for you, I'd go gnome. You're gonna be more accepted in cities. Your stats are roughly the same and being gnome size is a great advantage in pvp. Eventually you'll be able to snag a dark elf mask for yourself. Neriak is fairly easy to gain good faction with (especially if you're a rogue). And finally, you'll be dead sexy.
