If you stroll up to a character or group of characters and clean the floor with them then sit there calmly and silently among the corpses while they pick up their loots, hang their head in shame and leave the zone you have "owned them".
Alternatively, if you clean the floor with them and they loot then reattack immediately and you kill them once again you have "reowned them".
Alternatively, if you clean the floor with them and then they loot spill massive ooc whines and then die again you have "resilenced them after owning them".
Alternatively, if you see some peck druid flying at you with a train of mobs behind him and snare/root/dark the little punk in order to watch him die you have "detrained and owned him".
Alternatively, if you beat on some braindead elf surrounded by pacifist healers of your own race keeping him alive and finally drain all the mana out of all of them and kill him you have "owned the schmuck and all his towelboys".
Alternatively, if you whip the crap out of some peck druid only to watch him blizzymodem into the zone you have still "owned him". If you catch him reconnecting and popping out the other side 15 minutes later you have "given him a timeout then a spanking after owning him".
Now contrary to popular belief if you drag a big train down on someone you have "owned" absolutely nobody. As Blizzy has proved many times a drooling retard can pull trains.
In addition if you blizzymodem then reconnect and actually win a fight you have also "owned" nobody, because you were just given a timeout to think about how bad you suck at pvp.
In addition if you are kept alive by a slew of immortal healers and finally manage to kill somebody after sucking on mommies tit the whole fight then you have "owned" nobody. In reality you have just stolled around the pvp block with training wheels on getting ready for the time you are big enough to let go of mommies hand and play in traffic.
Last but no least if you kill somebody on your third bindrush you have "owned" nobody, quite the opposite you have handed out "bonus ownage" to your opponents by dieing so many times and they were simply riding the wave to see how much "ownage" they could rack up on you before you finally manage to defend youself.
Using these standards it is fairly easy to see that certain guilds on the server are "ownage" distributors and living in denial while others are "ownage" collectors and feeding off the cattle. Thank you for your time.
