The end is nigh

Michael "Ryana" Contillo

Change Me Michael was first introduced to computers in High School, where his math teacher taught him to BASIC programming. While learning to appreciate the joys of a well-written algorithm, Michael also developed his passion for computer games. Despite his computer gaming addiction, Michael did manage to earn a BS in Astrophysics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook on his native Long Island.

Realizing that the only job in the field was held at that time by Carl Sagan, Michael turned to computers as a source of revenue. He has been employed as a programmer by such companies as McDonnell Douglas and Intel, to name a few.

With the expansion of the Internet into the mainstream back in the mid 1990s, Michael's computer gaming mania was rekindled. It started off innocently enough with the original Diablo. It then branched out to Ultima Online, followed by Everquest and then Dark Age of Camelot.

Michael has served the Safehouse for a number of years, providing programming expertise whenever called upon. His favorite project was working on the Safehouse City module that was written for Neverwinter Nights.

When he's not pretending to work for a living, Michael enjoys playing computer games (duh!), playing one of his guitars, rollerblading or just curling up with a good Science Fiction book.
