"While There Was the Normal Wildlife..."

While there was the normal wildlife one would expect at any such place, the crew was able to discover no intelligent inhabitants on the islands. I suppose this is a good thing, we have had enough surprises recently and do not need any new neighbors with whom tensions could arise.1
